UP Plus Modified Extruder

In Drew Petitclerc's UP! Extruder Modification, the extruder was altered for an UP Plus, featuring fan shroud and fan mount additions, as well as a heater board mount modification. Printed with PLA on an UP, components included pressure arm and holding block; approximately 20 hours of printing time invested so far. Instead of a spring plunger, a screw and nut were used, glued to the extruder and coupled with a pen spring for adjustable pressure – particularly useful for flexible filament printing. The project is ongoing, requiring Dremel material removal for smooth operation; updated STL files are forthcoming.
