UP Mini Mainboard cooler mod

UP Mini Mainboard cooler mod

thingiverse

This mod separates the UP mini's mainboard from its cabinet, enabling external cooling via a 40x40mm 12V fan with a dust filter. A 80x80mm computer fan duct is also available, though untested, and a 120mm fan duct comes with instructions to print all parts. Attach the fan duct to the lower grille using double-sided foam tape, and use an external 12V power source; a 5V header on the mainboard is unused. To install, slide cowlings over the metal support back pane, starting with the top cowling, followed by the lower and upper cowlings that join together.
