Complete Overhaul of Extruder Plastic Components Enhances Cooling Efficiency A comprehensive redesign of the plastic components surrounding the extruder gear and stepper motor enables superior heat dissipation, significantly improving overall performance. The original wind barrier remains effective with these new designs, allowing for seamless integration. A strategically placed cooling vent is added to the extruder gear, while exposing the stepper motor optimizes radiant cooling. Factory wires are sufficiently long to reposition the circuit board as needed, utilizing all original hardware components. To ensure optimal functionality, the small guide and bearing combination that fits over the extruder gear must be carefully trimmed, as depicted in accompanying images, to accommodate the enhanced cooling vent.
