A broken leg on my extruder's top, concealed behind a motor, caused intermittent printing issues due to the stepper cog disconnecting from the wire. Fortunately, the leg did not fully detach because of a nearby screw that held it in place. The crack was also near where the heater wire exited. Upon discovery, I redesigned the part with larger corner radii and stronger legs for version 5. To enhance durability, I counterbored the cap screw heads. It is essential to print the installation orientation with the filament tube vertical for optimal results.
