To enhance the performance of my large plastic purchase from "MakerBot," I updated the part for improved compatibility with varied filament diameters and facilitated quick color changes. The filament can now be effortlessly pulled out when the motor is reversed, while inserting new filaments works seamlessly in reverse as well. A tapped hole for a M6 spring plunger was added to regulate feeder gear pressure, interchangeable with an SHCS if desired. I also followed recommendations from this site by removing material causing overhangs for better printability. Simply print, swap, and enjoy!
