The feeder assembly has been redesigned to improve its durability and functionality. A switch was incorporated to reverse the motor, allowing for quick changes in materials or colors. Additionally, a DPDT microswitch was wired into the motor to easily reverse polarity and facilitate filament extraction. The new design also includes an "S" bend that ensures consistent contact between the filament and pinch roller, even with slippery or out-of-spec diameter materials. Furthermore, the PCBA was repositioned, and additional material was added to enhance overall assembly strength and reduce flexing.
