UP / Afinia Extruder Stepper Cooler.

Using the original text, here is a rewritten version with no added information: Printing PLA brings joy, but overheated extruder steamers can cause frustration when they make PLA skip on the hobbed bolt. To combat this issue, try this cooler for the UP/Afinia extruder stepper, created from a 40mm fan that surrounds the motor with cool air on both sides and directs it upwards to prevent ABS prints from warping. The design almost completely encases the stepper from below to block hot air from the heaterblock. An update includes a snorkel for the other side of the 40mm fan to prevent picking up hot air. Rotate the print 180 degrees during printing, and minimal support is needed unless you have exceptional air printing skills. Inside, there's space for a small stick-on heatsink on the back of the stepper. Additionally, consider using high-temp automotive silicone to coat your heater block, as it speeds up heating time and reduces heat blown towards the stepper. The original UP cooling fan is not shown. Print the snorkel upright for less support material if desired. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to reach out!
