UP Afinia EXTRUDER MODIFICATION

This project involves modifying the UP 3D printer's extruder with components from the Replicator Mod, including a spring. Additional items needed include a McMaster Carr 90278A312 shoulder bolt and a 626-2RS bearing purchased from eBay. The modifications have successfully improved extrusion of previously "crap" filament. Additionally, a cooler for the extruder stepper motor is included in the design, with the author's noting their motor running at about 100 degrees Fahrenheit. For cooling, a 40mm 12-volt fan (Jameco part number 212717) is used; however, any similar 40mm 12-volt fan will work.
