this AKS-74U hand-guard is not 100% like a real one, this of is course for one simple reason since a AK and a AR15 don't have the same over all shape, so it looks and feel like one but it's not 100% one. this also of course of the barrel paintball barrels are big so you will lose some details there that other wise would have been there. this is mounted like a free floating handguard. and the T15 barrel can be removed wile the handguard is mounted on the T15. as the installation picture shows. you only need 1 M3 bolt in a length between 20mm up to 40mm to install the front sight post or the no sight cap. video link https://youtu.be/VYVFBz-fVZA
