I made this for my DIY unregulated mod kit. I couldn't figure out what to do because the MOSFET got hot really fast and melted the plastic, verified wiring was correct. SO... I made this to hold it all, its a very tight fit and loosely holds a "usb lithium ion charger" I cannot tell you how to assemble it because I will not be responsible if you blow yourself up.It's designed to be used right handed so if you're left handed flip the design.Supposed to be similar to a pistol grip with your pointer finger pressing the buttonspecs of heat sink: 40mm x 21mm x 8mmI pulled it off a random power supply so I can't give a linkthe center of the screw is 4mm from the top of the heatsinkI used kapton tape between the top of the MOSFET and the plastic just to be 100% safe. The screws I used to hold the lid on are standard PC screws robbed from a Dell Optiplex.Lid V2 is for better hand fit and the part that meets the heatsink is slightly wider if your printer doesn't print V1 snuggly it's increased by .5mm on each side. For printing I used supports it's hard to remove but worked well for me. the circular holes don't need support they printed fine in PLA without it (have not tried other materials)Category: Gadgets
