Unreal Engine 4 coaster (pair) Unreal Engine 4 is a comprehensive suite of integrated tools designed specifically for game developers to create and build immersive games, simulations, and visualizations. This download includes two high-quality drink coasters - one positive and one negative. For optimal results, print the negative coaster as it provides enhanced stability for your glass or cup. Use these coasters to place your favorite beverage. If you have printed this model, feel free to showcase your skills by uploading a picture of your creation. This coaster is designed to fit standard sizes (100 by 100 by 5 mm) and can be easily accommodated in my coaster holder: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3130397 I successfully printed this model using Ultimaker white PLA with the following settings: 0.2mm layer height, 18% infill, 0.4mm nozzle, and an extruder temperature of 210 degrees Celsius. I also utilized a heated bed to achieve optimal results. To prevent curling at the bottom, I employed a brim during printing. Design Steps I selected a logo from my browser and converted it into an SVG format using Inkscape (see video*). Next, I imported the SVG file into Blender and transformed it into a 3D object. In Meshmixer, I repaired the file by utilizing the 'Inspector' button under the 'Analysis' tab. Additionally, I added a drink coaster to the model in Meshmixer using simple design techniques. You can also choose to create a template for a drink coaster in another program like Tinkercad. Then, I merged the drink coaster with the 3D logo model after scaling it in Meshmixer. In Meshmixer, I created the 'positive' file. To generate the negative model, I used 123D Design to subtract the file from a standard drink coaster. I saved the result as an STL file and prepared it for printing. However, despite repairing the model in Meshmixer, it still had some issues. Therefore, I decided to export it into Netfabb Online Service - a free STL repair service. This process effectively resolved the problems, and after previewing the model in my slicer (a step that I highly recommend before printing), I was able to print it without any difficulties.
