Unobtrusive Anet A6 X-axis Belt Tensioner This parametric design creates an x-axis belt tensioner for the Anet A6 3D printer. It was made with FreeCAD 0.17 daily. The goal was to create a tensioner that requires minimal changes to the original printer. You'll need: * This design printed * A 55mm long M3 or M4 bolt with a hex head as a tensioning rod * An M3 screw, 16mm in length (including head) * An M3 nut * The two original idler collar bearings * A wing nut matching the tensioning bolt * 1.75mm filament, 16mm in length for locking the bolt A 55mm long M4 bolt was used, requiring a hole to be enlarged from 3mm to 4mm. You can keep M3 dimensions, but this would require adjusting the "Spannschraube" (tensioning bolt) parameters. A bifurcated plate prevents twisting of the rod-pusher plates when adjusting the tensioning screw.
