UNO Cards Box
thingiverse
This box looks familiar, but it's been improved upon by me. When I printed two of them, the little lid catches broke off, so I designed my own using Fusion 360 with a tight tolerance lid that doesn't need catches. The model came together quickly, and I'm thrilled with how it turned out. The ellipse openings provide a clear view of the UNO logo inside, eliminating any doubt about what's in the box. The lower opening makes it simple to remove the deck for shuffling. To soften the sharp edges, I rounded them slightly, as my previous print had 90-degree corners that my kids didn't like. This was an easy Sunday afternoon project that has resulted in a much better box than the small cardboard one the game usually comes with.
