I'm replicating the design of the 2019 UNLV AIAA DBF nerf drop mechanism, featuring a stiff TPU main body and PLA arms that extend outward. To move these arms, I'm utilizing a robust 9g Servo that provides precise control. The hinges for the arms are securely attached using 1.25mm nails, ensuring smooth operation. To connect the servo arm to the nerf drop mechanism's arms, I've employed nichrome wire, providing a reliable and efficient linkage between components.
