Unlock lever for Safety 1st Child Gate

I have 3 child safety gates installed throughout my home. To open them, one must push a single button to the side and then another to unlock the gate. The side-moving button is held back by a spring that gradually wears down with time. Unfortunately, two of these gates have already broken, so I designed this replacement mechanism.\r\n\r\nThe design allows for easy disassembly to replace the lever. To do this safely, simply take care not to lose the springs in the process.
