A lot of people are printing visors nowadays due to the corona crisis, and it's great that they're taking action! You guys are all heroes in my book. However, as for me, I've got a lot on my plate, so I don't always have time to hang out with my printers. That usually means I'm not very efficient when it comes to printing large quantities. That's why I was super excited when I stumbled upon a guy who'd figured out how to make his Prusa printer unload objects automatically! It simply pushed them off the print bed, and I thought that was pure genius. But here's the thing: I didn't want to apply too much force to my printer to get it to push the visor loose. Luckily, fate intervened when I discovered a guy named Martin Bardosson - also known as MBX_Teknik on Thingiverse - who'd just released a visor design with a loop. So, I created this hook to work with that existing design of a visor with a loop. No pressure on the printer whatsoever! In this guide, I'll walk you through how to try this method on your own printer. Since I don't own the original design of the looped visor (which is actually a Swedish version), I won't be sharing it here. It's originally based on faceshield.nu, but feel free to use any visor you like - just add a loop to it! However, please note that this project requires some knowledge of Gcode, and every printer is different, so you can't even use the same code on two identical ones.
