**TENSIONER BOX** I redesigned the tensioner box in Fusion360 to achieve a smoother and more refined mesh. The Fusion360 source file is scaled 100%. ![enter image description here](https://i.postimg.cc/GpF1tJ8q/Tensioner-Box.jpg) ![enter image description here](https://i.postimg.cc/kH9XkRmK/Tensioner-Box-2.jpg) ![enter image description here](https://i.postimg.cc/65jg4T1Y/Tensioner-Box-3.jpg) ![enter image description here](https://i.postimg.cc/hG8D9t6s/Tensioner-Pin.jpg) I am not satisfied with the original design of the tensioner pin because it is flawed when printing the "threading ribs". Here is a section of the hole: ![enter image description here](https://i.postimg.cc/xNcRnQ1V/Tensioner-Pin-Hole.jpg) The highlighted features cannot be successfully printed without support: ![enter image description here](https://i.postimg.cc/TCY0yGKj/Tensioner-Pin-Support.jpg) I modified the hole section to make it easier to print without supports: ![enter image description here](https://i.postimg.cc/f7t6PQ5T/Tensioner-Pin-Hole-Modified.jpg) Then I conducted several tests to determine the correct interference between screw and thread. I found that for an M3 screw, 2.7 mm is the optimal diameter. This value must be adjusted in the sketch named **interference** in the Fusion360 file. The file is scaled 100%. If you need to increase the scale in the slicer, you should decrease the interference diameter to maintain the correct interference once printed: ![enter image description here](https://i.postimg.cc/6N8Fzg2Z/Screw-Interference.jpg) ![enter image description here](https://i.postimg.cc/C1XfRQJr/Tensioner-Pin-Test.jpg) Then I tested that the interference is sufficient to bear weight. Up to **two kilograms** are acceptable: ![enter image description here](https://i.postimg.cc/3y7kCZ4T/Tensioner-Pin-Weight-Test.jpg) ![enter image description here](https://i.postimg.cc/vb9KXyFp/Screw-Tension-Test-1.jpg) ![enter image description here](https://i.postimg.cc/mgGcRzY3/Screw-Tension-Test-2.jpg)
