Unlimbited Arm, modification for short forearm
thingiverse
I'm Creating a Custom Forearm for the Unlimbited Arm. I Want to Make One That Will Work for a Kid with a Short Forearm. The Regular Unlimbited Doesn't Fit Them Properly. First, I Remove the Lateral Holes and Create New Ones on the Back of the Forearm. This Allows Me to Add an Additional Canal for the Strings, Separating Them into Two Paths. At the End of the Forearm, I Add More Material for Better Elbow Support. Next, I Modify the Tensioner Block to Try a Two-Tension System - One Tensioner for Three Fingers and Another for the Remaining Two. This Customization Will Give Me More Flexibility When Creating a Forearm for This Kid. These Modifications Are Based on Original Files Provided by Team UnLimited. The UnLimbited Arm Project, Led by Team UnLimited, Is Licensed Under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. The Work Was Initially Created by Po Paraguay, Christian Silva, and the e-NABLE Community.
