Many of Bourdelle's notable works are showcased at the Musée Bourdelle, which offers a glimpse into his creative process. From 1922 to 1923, he dedicated himself to perfecting La Vierge à l'offrande and completing the maquette for La France. Additionally, he brought La Naissance d'Aphrodite to life for the Marseille Opera House during this period. In 1925, Bourdelle's artistic prowess was on full display at the Exposition Internationale des Arts décoratifs, where Sappho, Le Livre, and Masque de Bourdelle took center stage in the Pavillon du Livre. The year 1926 marked a significant milestone for Bourdelle as his Alvéar monument was finally inaugurated after years of tireless effort. Meanwhile, La France made its debut at the Salon des Tuileries. In 1928, a commemorative exhibition was held to celebrate the inauguration of the Brussels Palais des Beaux-Arts. The following year, Bourdelle's legacy continued to unfold with the inauguration of the Monument to Adam Mickiewicz in 1929. Unfortunately, this milestone would be his last, as he passed away on October 1st, 1929 at Vésinet. In 1931, a grand retrospective of Bourdelle's work was held at the Paris Orangerie, offering a comprehensive look at his remarkable artistic journey.
