I have several projects awaiting mounting on walls and this is my preferred method for rapid display changing, removal and hanging. For my particular needs, I intended to attach the base to the wall with finishing nails, and super glue or double-sided tape the interlocking slider onto 3D printed parts. One case requires attaching it to brick with screws, so I will pre-drill holes to prevent plastic from splitting. You can create a display area for 3D art and quickly swap objects using the universal catch system. The default size is robust but should easily be scaled down for lighter loads. This design focuses on fast, effortless object swapping using an interlocking catch system, without tools or hassle. I updated my project with an STL of the two-piece set that never got uploaded, so I've added it to the project now.
