Grow weary of unsuitable, difficult-to-use, or unreliable Z holder adjustments that don't fit your printer? Check out this alternative design! Originally designed for a RepRap Huxley, it features a wide base and large hole to accommodate various end stops. The adjustment mechanism is human-friendly but not vulnerable to vibrations or time. It's called "high precision" because the sensor sits on a lever with a fine-tuning screw at the end, reducing sensitivity. Feel free to print, use, or modify it as desired! For assembly, gather your end stop, a helical spring (found in some plastic clothes pegs), and M5 screws, nuts, and washers. Follow these steps: 1) Print the Z holder. 2) Assemble the parts with a 3mm diameter PLA/ABS piece (1cm long). 3) Insert nuts into the base and handle. 4) Add the screw. 5) Attach your end stop with glue or tape. 6) Position the spring near the hinge. 7) Secure the Z holder on your printer. Adjust with ease, stability, and reliability! Pro tip: Mark one tooth on the handle for easy tracking of adjustments.
