This is the Ultimate Tweeter Pod. Designed for versatility, it can be mounted on either the dashboard or the A-pillar of a vehicle. A 3mm screw allows for rotation to optimize tweeter positioning, while 3M tape provides a secure adhesive attachment. The pod's base features a slot that enables speaker cable passage through the foot or sole, depending on your mounting preference. A generous space at the rear accommodates excess speaker cable, simplifying wiring and installation. Once connected, the tweeter can be easily pushed into place without cable bunching issues. This pod is specifically engineered to fit perfectly on an Audi A4 B8K's existing dash speaker grill, allowing for a high-end 3-way speaker setup. Print Settings Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.20 Infill: 5% Notes: The design features 4 top layers, 4 bottom layers, and 3 outer layers. Printing on glass with ABS is recommended, as the dash can get hot. ABS or PETG will yield the best results. The print process took approximately three hours, with reasonable support added to ensure crisp edges and a solid weld between the foot's components. Post-Printing Best results are achieved by printing this design face-up, requiring a 115-degree rotation forward. Support is essential to prevent internal sagging on the roof and maintain structural integrity. A Hybrid Audio Legatia VI Special Edition Pro 1 tweeter has been installed in one of the pictures. A blank STL file is also provided for users to cut out their preferred hole size to accommodate various tweeters. Design Process Software Utilized: Designed using Solidworks Printed with Simplify 3D, employing a 0.20mm height, no raft, and an ABS material on a glass surface.
