Universal Tripod Leg Clamp

Universal Tripod Leg Clamp

thingiverse

I have this clamp that was used to adjust tripod leg sections; it broke years ago and I got it welded but it only lasted a bit. Since then, I've been using masking tape to make do. That all changed when my DaVinci printer arrived; I designed a replacement with OpenSCAD and printed it. It works well now and if something happens in the future, I can always create another one. The clamp has an adjustable mechanism for different leg diameters and screw sizes, which you can change using Customizer. The OpenSCAD file includes additional parameters that you can adjust according to your needs. In addition to the clamp STL file, I also uploaded my tripod's STL file. Instructions Printed with solid infill (90%) and supports on my DaVinci 1.0 using .3mm layer thickness. Use Customizer to change the leg and screw sizes for your tripod. Check that everything fits together properly, rinse, repeat as needed
