If you decide to buy filament without spools, this versatile design is the perfect solution for you. It can easily adapt to any amount of plastic you've purchased at a given time, ranging from 100 meters to 400 meters or approximately 1Kg in weight. The width of this spool design can be adjusted in 4 mm increments, allowing you flexibility when working with different sizes of filament. To assemble this spool, all you need to do is print both sides - the "A" side and the "V" side - then place your filament on one side and screw it onto the other. Secure it firmly by using two or three pieces of 1.75 mm filament. The spool's shape has been optimized to minimize plastic usage while also ensuring that it can be printed without any supports. I personally used PLA, but this design should work just as well with any type of plastic you choose.
