I experimented with several spool holders, but none met my expectations. This simple design exceeded my needs and proved to be a perfect fit. Rear or side mounted spool holders were impractical due to the location of my printer, so I opted for this basic setup instead. It performs well, and I haven't encountered any issues yet. The spool rotates smoothly, allowing the filament to unwind effortlessly. You might even repurpose an old CD/DVD holder in a similar manner. I secured it to the front part of my printer's top using double-sided tape. This is my initial design for my first 3D printer, and I hope you find it satisfactory.
