Universal Tool Handle 1.0
thingiverse
Two squeegee style handles perfect with a tool adaptor that allows different tools ends to be designed easily to fit. The handles are similar to the Unger ErgoTec & ErgoTec XL handles. They fit on the end of an extension pole with a cone adaptor and should also be compatible with Optiloc (Untested). There is a Shorter handle for people with small or normal hands and an Longer handle for people like me with big hands. I've included the "Connector for Tool" & "Connector for Handle" files so you can create compatible tools and handles. The tool connector fits tightly just using friction. Depending on your printer tolerances and the filament it should be a tight fit that won't come loose when using the tool, and might take some persuasion to fit in place initially. However if you feel like improving the connector design, maybe adding some kind of snap-fit that would be great, but this 1.0 version has worked fine for me using it as a squeegee. *Slicing and print notes* I modelled this in Blender (sorry) because that's what I'm familiar with, and it exports and slices fine for me, but you might have to check or mess around with the scaling and orientation. The Handle prints great vertically, with the hole at the base. I used a raft to keep it adhered as it is pretty tall and a small surface area, but you do you. I also found no problems using 10% infill and 0.24 layer height, but you do you.
