Universal telescope eyepiece smartphone mount

This adapter fits any smartphone to most eyepieces and is designed for scopes, binoculars, microscopes, laser welders and anything else with a universal eyepiece mount. Fits standard telescope eyepieces diameters, and most smartphones should fit in the clamp (you're doing just fine with your phone - phablets are optional). This modified adapter only requires 3 bolts, fits any M6 eyepiece size, and has railings to keep it secure on small telescopes. Version 2 features a stronger hex bolt design. Additional parts: three 25mm long hex head bolts and three wingnuts for tightening. I created this mechanism as I wanted to take photos of galaxies with my smartphone, but finding the focus in dark environments can be challenging. With the new clamping system you can set your phone and adjust it anytime using its screen while focusing on celestial objects. The tool also works well for other optical devices, such as microscopes and laser welders. Print this device at a nozzle size of 0.4 or 0.5mm - if printed at lower settings the bolts may loosen when tightening. As I found out that you can replace wingnuts with an elastic band to provide an excellent clamping force, which pulls together nicely. Note: You will not be able to attach your iPhone as Apple has not developed this particular technology yet, but other smartphones and mobile phones should fit well in the clamp.
