My requirements called for a tablet mount suitable for my current android tablet, but also one that would adapt to (almost) any future type of tablets, as I also tested it with an iPad Mini. The design was created using DesignSpark Mechanical 2.0 software. Files for constructing this mount are attached for anyone looking to build upon or modify the design further. Thanks to its adjustable height feature, any tablet thinner than 11mm will fit perfectly in this mount. Additionally, a wide cutout in the lower part can be used to route the power supply cable. Below are step-by-step instructions on how to assemble and set up this tablet mount: To make it easier to run the power cord through the mount, drill holes for the power cable either left or right of the vertical piece of the upper section.
