Universal Surface Mount
thingiverse
I designed these mounts to securely fasten phone and networking equipment to walls and the bottoms of shelves in my equipment room and media center, but they should work for any rectangular object.\r\n\r\nClick 'Open in Customizer' on the right to adjust its dimensions to match the object you want to mount, set the size of the flat-headed screws you'd like to use, and alter thicknesses and tooth sizes to modify the grip strength on your object. You can create brackets that attach to the corners or sides of your objects, so if you prefer, you can design a variety of points of contact tailored to your needs.\r\n\r\nTheoretically, these mounts could hold an immense amount of weight depending on how thick you set the dimensions. However, unless you're willing to alter the OpenSCAD source (which I've made relatively easy), each bracket accommodates only one screw. So basically, what I'm saying is try not to be careless with these things, and if you disregard that advice, don't blame me!\r\n\r\nGithub: https://github.com/dbenoy/3dprint-surface-mount
