Universal Spool Holder for Rostock Max V2
thingiverse
I'm a re-poster, I don't claim this work as my own - it was actually found online, but the source has now slipped through my fingers. To get this up and running, you'll need to use 608RS (8 x 22 x 7mm) skateboard bearings, an M8 rod, and a few nuts. Be sure to add some washers to secure it properly onto your old spool mount. When completed, this should totally eliminate both backlash and retraction issues, not to mention the noise and vibration that came with them.
