Rotate these so they are laying flat! Or you can leave them alone, up to you. These are really simple sharpening stone guides that are made to be used with a rubber band. I made them this way for 2 reasons: Simplicity means faster prints and the lack of self-mounting means it can be used on a variety of stones. Requires: Rubber band or rope to tie down to stone. Can be used without tiedown, but this requires constant moving of the guide as the knife will push it back frequently. Print Settings: Resolution: 0.2 (recommended but you can go anything really) Infill: 50% (You can also go just about anything on this as well, but the print times aren't heavily affected by higher numbers. 50% will give you a strong piece that doesn't take too long to print.) Supports: No Adhesion: Up to you and your printer. No if you can print fine without them.
