How I Designed This I just sketched my shape and used the "Offset Entities" function, then extruded that sketch. Next, I made another sketch on the same original plane and offset the previous sketch. Preschool - 5th Grade (Art) students love making creative shapes with play dough. Preparation Make sugar cookie dough beforehand by mixing ingredients together. Get out a flat, clean sheet of paper and lay it on the table. Lay out your clay / play dough in a flat shape to create a design. Steps Flatten out cookie dough using a rolling pin to get the right thickness. Press the cutter into the dough to cut out the desired shape, then remove it. Lay your shape flat onto your paper and use a pencil to make a smooth outline of the entire figure. Remove your shape from the paper and punch it through the modeling material. Results A cut out shape of dough is ready to be baked in the oven. A clean, perfect traced geometrical figure can now be used for math lessons. A perfect shape of clay / play dough has been created, perfect for art classes.
