Tired of Fussing with Your Bowden Setup? Try This Alternative! You're not alone in struggling to get the most out of your bowden setup - it can be a real pain, especially when it comes to achieving top speeds and printing quality. I've got just the solution for you! My custom ultimaker style printer makes setting up a breeze, and with this innovative design, you'll be able to achieve same speed or even better results without adding extra clutter to your carriage. The secret lies in a simple yet effective holder that can accommodate any extruder as long as it uses a nema 17 stepper. The solidworks file is included for easy installation. I've been using a 3-inch bowden tube between the extruder and hotend, and the results are nothing short of impressive - even with a retraction setting of 1.70mm (which still needs some fine-tuning). With this setup, I've managed to print non-stop for over 90 hours without any issues. The dancing arm only moves on the z-axis, up and down, which eliminates mess on the carriage due to gravity's influence. Don't mind my printer's current state - it's still a work in progress (no cable management yet, lots of tie-wraps!). I used available materials: * 15x15 extrusion to hold the extruder * 20x20 aluminium extrusion * 2x20mm spring * M4 threaded 10 mm diameter ball * 1x608 bearing * 1x8mm shaft Check out my YouTube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcbxGUUnVxw) for a closer look at this amazing setup! Print Settings: * Printer: Ultimaker style * Rafts: No * Supports: Doesn't Matter * Resolution: 0.2 * Infill: 60%
