Primarily, the universal attachment consists of a four-bar mechanism, specifically a slider crank mechanism. Three of these bars are newly fabricated, while one is an existing part of the assembly. By attaching a Sunstar iBike electric motor to any bicycle frame, users can easily fit this mechanism. The motor is secured by bolting a nut and bolt along the slider, tightening appropriately around the down-tube and chain stays. This ensures that the motor remains secure on various cross-sections and dimensions of these components. A connecting link of appropriate length is utilized to accommodate different angles between the down-tube and chain stays.
