This mounting is designed for easy manufacturing and durability. Avoid breaking equipment while enjoying outdoor activities! Made from thin stainless steel, it undergoes laser cutting and bending with minimal T.I.G. welding. The base clips over the gunwale profile using the metal's spring action without damaging your canoe. Its shape ensures a tight grip. Flexible holders, usually neoprene rubber, are red in render versions and may be made from leather instead. The mounting is symmetrical for both sides of the canoe, with a design that prevents rods falling overboard if knocked out by a paddle. Holders swivel from horizontal to near-vertical and from perpendicular to parallel to the canoe, ensuring rods face the stern during movement. This protects them from damage due to snags. A quick rod removal for trolling or when getting a strike is possible due to flexible clamping parts and ample hand space. The adjustment knob sets vertical angle and releases holder for adjustable balance of different rods types. Holders can also be manufactured in colors matching Trapper products from anodized aluminum, thanks to GrabCAD members' contributions. A Rhino v5 file will soon be uploaded.
