Universal RC plane canopy

My rc plane, aptly named superfly, boasted a foam canopy that proved to be extremely fragile, prompting me to design this solution. This custom-made canopy is designed to be versatile and can be easily installed on numerous planes. The unique design utilizes zip ties to pass through the foam into the printed rim on the opposite side. Although I haven't developed a method to secure the lid firmly in place yet, my plan involves using velcro straps and a zip tie as a hinge; currently, the lid clips onto a piece of a gift card serving as a stop, but this setup isn't very sturdy so I intend to add velcro later. To keep the battery securely in place, I simply use a piece of foam cut to fit the shape. The canopy doesn't have any designed tolerances, so it's best to trim it down using software or sand the edges after printing. The dimensions are 101 x 40.5 x 170.4 mm. To accommodate soft foam planes, I added a solid plate. Additionally, I included a hook on the solid plate for bungee launches. It's worth noting that the holes aren't symmetrical, especially the front one, and I'm unsure about the others. Printer Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.4mm Infill: 100% Notes: I used colorfabb pla, with print settings of 220c and a bed temperature of 60c. I ran the print at 100% fan speed, although this was an error on my part; it would have been better to use variable fan speeds for the main body. To avoid unnecessary supports, I printed the lid vertically.
