Universal quick release locking thumb
thingiverse
I've Lost My Tripod's Quick Release Lever, and Now It's Impossible to Use the Whole Thing. This Part Was Created Using Fusion 360 Software and Printed with My Prusa I3 Printer. The Design Works Perfectly and Fits Nicely into Place. To Fix the Issue, I Used a Screw and Spring from Another Tripod That Has a Matching Component But Faces in the Opposite Direction - Unfortunately, This Means It Can't Be Utilized Either. It's Worth Noting That This Part Is Specifically Designed for Left-Handed Users, While Some Stands Have the Same Part with Identical Dimensions but Face in the Opposite Direction. Print Settings: Printer: Prusa I3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 40 Designing This Component Was a Two-Step Process Involving Creation of 2D Drawings and a 3D Model Using Fusion 360. The Final Part Was Then Prepared for Printing in Cura.
