Universal Projector Ceiling Mount

I built a universal HD projector mount that can be mounted to any ceiling. Most projector mounts require a specific mounting plate, but I designed mine to be generic, inspired by Wade's original design found on Thingiverse. Firstly, I added a ceiling securing ring that provides additional support for heavy items. Simply drill holes in the ceiling and slip the ring onto bolts from the upstairs floor void, then tighten them. Wade's design had one flaw: the Projector Plate was specific to his projector. So I separated it into two parts - a Plate Mount and a separate Plate - which fasten together using 4 x M3 Nuts and Bolts with Washers. This way, you only need a plate specific to your projector, but the rest is universal. I printed my projector in 2 sections due to its large size, but this doesn't affect the finished mount once it's bolted together. Kudos to Wade for his original design! I hope you find this useful and can use it to mount different items too! Instructions: Print all parts at 20% infill with no raft or supports. Fasten sections together using M6 Bolts with M6 locking nuts / washers. Fasten the projector plate to the mount using M3 Bolts with M3 locking nuts / washers. Fasten to the ceiling and enjoy movie time with your family!
