Universal Piggyback Mount for Celestron 6SE and 8SE

Universal Piggyback Mount for Celestron 6SE and 8SE

This is a simple universal camera mount that I created for my 6SE. From what I can see by comparing it to Celestron's mount, it should also fit the 8SE telescope. To make it work on the 5SE, I would probably reduce its size so that it fits snugly against the smaller diameter of the 5-inch tube - however, since I don't own one, I'm not entirely sure about this. This camera mount is sturdy and strong, giving me no worries when attaching a camera to it. The way it looks in the picture doesn't reflect its actual orientation; actually, the camera mount is perfectly parallel to the ground. I printed this mount using PLA Plus with 15% infill (more if you're extra cautious) and without any supports. To assemble it, you will need: A couple of oversized washers on the stock bolts since they are already long enough - I used 10-32 washers, but feel free to use whatever size works for you. 1" long 1/4-20 bolt 1/4-20 butterfly nut There may be metric equivalents available, but I'm not familiar with what those might be for a camera mount like this.
