To start, the original design was GREAT! all credit to JakeJake. I printed his design, and it worked fine. But as I was attaching it to my Quick Release base, I thought why not just print it with the QR base as part of the mount. So here you have the base without the hole and provision for a nut, that attaches directly to my SLIK tripods QR mount. Works great, makes it a bit simpler for me. This wedge at the bottom can be easily modified for any QR mount. Again, thanks to JakeJake for the outstanding design.
