I designed a smartphone stand some time ago, suitable for both small and large phones. My Samsung A5 with bumper (5.2") fits perfectly in place, while my Nexus 6P (5.7") also remains upright without any issues. The maximum allowed phone thickness is 10mm. I created three different versions of this stand: * The compact version can be printed using small printers with a build space of 100x100x100 (e.g., the Fabrikator II Mini). However, an USB connector will not fit underneath the stand in this case. * The large version requires a build space of 100x100x120 and leaves enough room for an USB connector under your phone. * The extra-large version needs a build space of 130x130x140 and is designed specifically for tablets. Each version features an 'antiroll' mechanism that prevents the stand from tipping over if you accidentally hit the top edge of a large phone.
