Universal Parkside X20v battery adapter

My trusty Makita 8391D drill suddenly decided to ditch its Ni-Cd batteries and start a new life.\r\n\r\nSo, I created an adapter that accepts Parkside Team X20v tool batteries.\r\nI had to print cross-sections of the slide in multiple parts to fit it perfectly since the tolerances were way off if printed as one piece. (EDIT1: The STL file has already been adjusted for printing.)\r\n\r\nFor the contact pins, I reused contact plates from a dead Ni-Cd battery.\r\nI used a superheated 9mm utility knife blade to make holes in the recovered battery plates because it's perfectly sized and keeps shmoos off the plates for easier no-clean soldering later.\r\n\r\nThis is just the base slide, which can be adapted to other tools than Makita - you'll need to figure out the mounting. In my case, I hacked out a piece of wood on a bandsaw and screwed it into a hole in the tool.\r\nI also made it so it can be disconnected, using some spade crimped cables I found in my maker-pile.\r\nThe female spades fit nicely over the original prongs in the drill, so if I ever want to take it to another tool with similar connections, I can.\r\n\r\nI printed it out on my CTC Ebay Special printer at 0.3 layers because I'm impatient, using Ebay Special PLA.\r\nIt's a bit ugly, but I couldn't be bothered with chamfers and other aesthetic details.\r\nFunctionality beats aesthetics in my book.\r\n\r\nI modeled the adapter in Sketchup.\r\nSketchup is weird, coming from 3dsmax/autocad - I'm not even close to being able to afford either of those.\r\n\r\nMaybe this will help someone with nice Lidl bought tools who wants to adapt their batteries...
