Universal parametric switch cover
youmagine
By tweaking parameters, it can output either a standard cover or a flat cover. If you have another type of switch cover in mind, it's likely that changing parameters even further will allow it to handle that too. The "normal" switch cover bears some resemblance to other designs I've used previously, but this one is significantly more robust - the previous one was somewhat thin and weak in my experience. Instructions: Print, install. If your printer can accommodate bridging, I actually prefer the variant that prints the opposite way. Simply remove the "rotate" command from the SCAD file to print it like that. I find this preference because the part where the screw is inserted is stronger and will never split when printed in this manner, whereas the flat one tends to exhibit crosshatching from the final layer printing (as seen in the photo), which I believe looks quite nice. The two STL files should be able to handle most switch types, but if you need something else, you can always consult the SCAD file.
