Universal Panel Latch

Universal Panel Latch

To avoid difficulties when removing panels, I sought a clip/latch that would stay in place. Online searches were unsuccessful; thus, I designed this latch. A 1/4" hole drilled through the panel ensures proper clearance for the inside latch. The outside knob connects with the wall to prevent panel movement when turning, regardless of direction. A square peg links the parts, offering four installation positions while maintaining image uprightness and finger grips. The current image is a howling wolf, but it's changeable. It fits 3/16" walls; I used 1/8" plexiglass panels with great results. To print, use ReplicatorG and Skienforge (version 50) with the 'Replicator 2 Slicing Defaults.' Infill Perimeter Overlap Ratio: 0.3
