Parametric encoder disc designed specifically for mounting on round shafts, originating from an original concept developed for a 4WD RC car and initially intended for use on the drive shaft. Initially, it was tailored to fit the Exceed Magnet RC truck drive shaft by default. An update has been made to allow its use with either optical sensors or magnetic/hall effect sensors. A second setup in SCAD file format has also been added, designed for magnets mounted in a radial sensing configuration. The default design and STL file are optimized for the Exceed Magnet drive shaft, utilizing 4mm x 2.75mm magnets.
