The extension is 65 mm long. Subtracting the installation depth of the bolt, the component extends the spring by 35 mm. That doesn't sound like much, but it makes a big difference. My component is also a cheap and easy way to increase the height of office chair a bit. - Worked better than expected What you also need: - 25mm M4 screw Iso 7045. - A M4 100mm. - M4 chim - A reused washer from the spring, as the M4 washer is too small to mount the base/spin on. - I used a soldering iron to fuse the printed components together. I also add a step file. What I would do differently if I had to design it again: - Add an ordinary ball bearing - Add an M4 nut in place of the screw. - I only had M4 screws in stock, but a larger screw would be better (M5 or M6)
