Here's a very simple but effective mount for the 25mm diameter red reflectors, required for a motorcycle to pass an MOT in the UK. The genius behind this dictate is that for a motorcycle to pass an MOT in the UK, it must have a bright red rear reflector with a minimum diameter of 25mm. This circular shape makes it highly visible on the road. I'm not entirely sure why these reflectors are required when there's already a large, reflective yellow license plate on the back of the bike. Apparently, this tiny reflector will make motorcyclists impossible to miss by other road users. I'll take their word for it! These mounts are extremely popular among motorcycle enthusiasts, especially those with custom builds or tail tidies. Some riders even attach them directly to the license plate, but I think that looks rather unsightly. I've been using this mount on my motorcycle for over a year now, and it's held up beautifully through winter conditions. The only thing I'd recommend is printing it with a high infill setting to prevent water from accumulating inside the plastic structure. To assemble the mount, simply print it out, apply some sticky tape, and stick it onto your bike. I printed mine in PLA at 100% infill and a layer height of 0.2mm. And those two micro LED indicators in the corner of my plate have been there for about three years and over 30,000 miles without any issues from law enforcement.
