Universal Modular Camera Mount

Universal Modular Camera Mount

I required a reliable camera mount with sturdy threads that could withstand significant torque without breaking easily. A printed M20 thread seemed robust enough to me, so I went ahead and designed it into the project. However, my perfectionism got the better of me, and the result was a highly versatile modular universal mount for cameras, action cams, and smartphones. I also included a standard stand and a clamp - you can choose which one works best for your needs. Simply print what you need and assemble everything using M20 bolts. For the clamp, I used a smaller M10 thread because it didn't require much torque to hold securely. The parts are optimized for 0.2mm layer height, so you shouldn't need any support for the threads themselves. However, some sections of the parts may benefit from support, so adjust your slicer accordingly. I set my Cura software to support overhangs greater than 60° and had no issues with printing. Additional edits were made: A smaller foot was added for users with 150x150mm printbeds.
