This design is minimalist, requiring very little print time. It assembles with M3 Screws (McMaster 91290A124) and M3 nuts (McMaster 90591A121). The cost for 100 each is approximately $10, saving you the hassle of printing screws. They are designed to be small and flimsy; this serves as a strain relief (in case a cord gets caught, I hope the system breaks before the 'scope dips over). Instead of purchasing soft tip screws, simply print out the Soft Tip parts and screw in the M3 screws. Two sizes are provided, depending on the size of your eyepiece. Next, glue the LED ring onto the assembly. I discovered that the LED dimmer listed produces too many modes and starts with a strobe light feature.
