Universal Joint
thingiverse
I laser cut this U-Joint out of 3mm acrylic. The screw and nut holes are sized for an M4 screw and its nut, I chose this size because the nut is 3mm thick so it fits perfectly in a single layer. Please note: this U-Joint is not intended to be strong, I am using it to give a handle a broader range of motion. I glued it all with super glue but if you are looking for a stronger and more reliable bond I would go with an adhesive made for acrylic. Instructions I glued the layer with only a screw hole (and the pin holes) in place first) I recommend gluing the pins in place once you make sure they are at a 90 degree angle with the pieces (so the rest of the pieces can fit on). By the way I ran out of blue that is why not all the pieces are the same color, there is no need for two different colored pieces. Best of luck!
